Attorney Michael Hoffman, Of Counsel

Michael S. Hoffman, Esq. received his Juris Doctor from the University of Miami School of Law. While attending law school, Mr. Hoffman served on the International Moot Court and earned the distinction of Dean’s Merit Scholar. Attorney Michael Hoffman earned his undergraduate Bachelor of Arts from Yeshiva University in 2004.

Mr. Hoffman was admitted to the Florida Bar in 2007 and the Federal District Courts for the Southern District of Florida and Middle District of Florida in 2008. Prior to his admission, Mr. Hoffman interned for the The Honorable Laurel M. Isicoff at the Southern District of Florida Bankruptcy Court in Miami. He presently concentrates his practice in the field of bankruptcy law and litigation. He represents debtors, alleged debtors, trustees and creditors in bankruptcy cases and adversary proceedings throughout the State of Florida.

Mr. Hoffman also represents community associations in cases pending under Chapter 7, Chapter 13 and Chapter 11 of the Bankruptcy Code. Mr. Hoffman was debtor’s counsel for a 502 unit condominium association that filed for bankruptcy protection in the Southern District of Florida in 2009. See In re Maison Grande Condominium Association, Inc., 425 B.R. 684 (Bankr. S.D. Fla. 2010).
